When we first met Kamakazi, we knew we wanted him in our breeding program. With the PPPeruvian Grand Master line on his sire's side, and PPeruvian Vengador on his dam's side, Kamakazi has "all the right stuff" to become a sensational herdsire. Fine, well-defined crimp from head to toe, beautiful, rich fawn color, solid bone structure with ideal conformation, and handsome head make this award-winning male nothing less than spectacular. His sire, LKR Magic Man has won eight championships in both halter and fleece, and we knew Kamakazi had all the right genetic and phenotypic qualities to make him excel as a herdsire himself.
One of the most impressive characteristics of Kamakazi is his extreme fineness that has been consistent every year, without a lack in density. One touch of his fiber and one can feel the buttery softness and compact architecture to his fleece. Kamakazi is retaining his fabulous fineness even into his fifth year--at age 4 his histogram recorded an amazing 20-micron average fiber diameter. Outstanding, by any standard, for color.
Kamakazi has finished his show career, taking many Firsts and Seconds, but we are probably most proud of his two Fourth place ribbons taken in consecutive years at the fiercely competitive International Alpaca Odyssey. His appearances in the show ring were shortened due to two difficult seasons of show sickness in which we kept our show string at home, but we are proud of his accomplishments nonetheless.
Kamakazi is available for outside breedings on site, via mobile breeding, or drive-by. As with our other herdsires we offer a "guaranteed female" policy. Please see our breeding policy for more details.
